Apple Disk Image format, commonly used for software and data package
Mac OS X, storing content in UDIF data format
uncompressed archive format storing binary digital copy,
sector-by-sector, of an optical disk support, file system agnostic (may
contain in example an ISO 9660 file system, as well as other file
systems), commonly used to save as single archive file a data CD, DVD,
or Blu-Ray disk.
Universal File Format is
an open standard (ISO 13346, created by Optical Storage Technology
Association) for data storage, developed for overcoming limitations of
older ISO 9660 standard
To open ISO file
(read-only mount the disk image) or DMG, or UDF, double click on the
file if its extension is associated to PeaZip, or (assuming Microsoft
operating system) right-click on the file and use "Open as archive"
entry in system's context menu, or standard system's "Open with" dialog
for associating .iso / .dmg / .udf format to be handled through PeaZip
once or permanently.
Content of the disk image can be browsed and searched (magnifier icon
at the right of the address bar), and archived files can be extracted
or previewed without extraction (extract as temporary file and opened
with associated application).
Custom programs or scripts can be used for previewing (or extract +
open concatenation) other than standard system's associations, set from
main menu > Options > Organize applications (Alt+9 hotkey), in
example in that way can be configured anti-virus for scanning
Please note the file cannot be updated adding / replacing / deleting
data in the disk's file system.
Also, please note burning images to physical disk is out of the scope
of the program.

- select and drag desired files / folders from the
application and drop them to the system for direct extraction
